Squid Fishing

Service Description

Come jig for Magister Arm Hook Squid inside the port of Valdez. Using electric reels, you will be jigging for squid in 100' to 700' of water. Season runs April - September. Half day trip, flexible schedule. Morning and evening trips available. All fishing gear provided. 2 people $300/each 3 people $250/each 4 to 6 persons $225/each What to bring: 1.) Fishing License- Best to purchase before the day of your adventure. 2.) Rain Gear/Rain Boots- Staying dry on a rainy day makes fishing more enjoyable. 3.) Hat, Sunglass & Sunscreen- Polarized sunglass are best for days that are sunny & bright. 4.) Drinks, snacks and or lunch- Plenty of fresh water available. Feel free to pack quick snacks and assorted drinks. Snacks high in protein are important in order to keep your energy up. 5.) Motion/Sea Sickness- If you think you might be prone to motion/sea sickness be sure and take the medication the night before. 6.) Camera- There are moments worth capturing when you’re on and off the water. It can be a serene landscape or an encounter wild life.
